Supervising and Training Analysts

Directory of SFCP Supervising Analysts

Below is a list of Supervising Analysts, organized by geographic area.

In general, SFCP Supervising Analysts offer supervision fees based on the following guidelines: The fee for supervision will be the same fee that the candidate’s patient pays for one session of analysis, with a range of $50 – $150.

In accordance with SFCP’s commitment to making psychoanalytic training more affordable and accessible to individuals affected by race-based and class-based systemic inequities which have previously served as barriers to pursuing analytic training, SFCP is now offering affordable supervision ($25 or less) to help cover costs of analytic training for BIPOC candidates and candidates with financial need.

Supervising Analysts who are available for affordable supervision in Fall 2023 have an * next their name; those with availability after January 2024 have ** next to their name. Candidates may also consult the SFCP Analytic Training Program webpage to see Training and Supervising Analyst Availability.

To learn more, please see a more detailed description of the Affordable Training Analysis and Supervision Program on the SFCP Website.

Please contact Supervising Analyst Committee Chair, Holly Gordon, DMH (hollygordon4@gmail.com, 415-346-4494), if you have any questions.
