In order to further enrich the learning community of the San Francisco Center for Psychoanalysis (SFCP), we are offering a tuition credit program for any of SFCP’s tuition-based programs to therapists who self-identify as a Person of Color. This funding is donated to SFCP in memory of Enrico E. Jones, Ph.D., an African American psychologist and Professor of Psychology at University of California, Berkeley, who did his psychoanalytic training at SFPI&S and was a Faculty member at SFPI&S.
In accordance with SFCP’s commitment to making psychoanalytic training more affordable and accessible to individuals affected by race-based and class-based systemic inequities which have previously served as barriers to pursuing analytic training, beginning in Fall 2023, SFCP will be offering Affordable Training Analysis and Supervision for Equity & Diversity Program to help cover costs of analytic training for BIPOC candidates and candidates with financial need. If you are enrolled in the SFCP Analytic Training Program or have accepted an offer of admission for the upcoming year, and you are interested in the possibility of an Affordable Training Analysis and Supervision, please consult the Directory of SFCP Training Analysts and Supervising Analysts on the SFCP Website or the SFCP Analytic Training Program webpage to see Training and Supervising Analyst Availability.
