Palo Alto Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Training Program (PAPPTP)

PAPPTP FELLOWSHIP YEAR

In a case discussion format the PAPPTP Fellowship Year brings psychoanalytic ideas and methods to life by offering you a window into how experienced psychoanalytic psychotherapists work. In four 7-week segments, our faculty will present to you their work with adults and children, showing how their work lessens suffering and promotes growth. It is the epitome of case-based learning and is designed for psychotherapy students, interns, therapists newly in practice, and experienced therapists wanting a rich and stimulating exposure to psychoanalytic psychotherapy.

Note: Graduates of the Fellowship Year often go on to apply to the Two-Year Program.

LOCATION: Stanford Psychiatry Building.

COSTS:

  • $70 non-refundable application fee.
  • $920 for anyone who has completed a psychotherapy training program.
  • $460 for anyone currently in a mental health training program, including the following:
    • Psychiatry residency or fellowship.
    • Pre- and post-doctoral psychology internships.
    • Master’s level internships.
