Graduation Paper Salon Pilot Program

August 15, 2023

Greetings SFCP Community-

I am excited to announce a new program that the Psychoanalytic Training Program is piloting for candidates and recent graduates to present their graduation papers to the SFCP community.

Chaired by Henry Markman, this program is intended to provide assistance and mentorship to candidates and recent graduates of the psychoanalytic training program to develop their graduation papers for presentation (and potentially publication) to the community as a way to promote an ethos of scholarship and independent thinking among the rising generation of psychoanalysts.

Please see a more detailed description of the Graduation Paper Salon Project here.

In the pilot phase of this program, we have invited all current candidates as well as those who graduated after January 2021 as a way to gauge interest. If we find that there is a great deal of interest, we will open it up to graduates prior to 2021.

We hope to begin presentations in spring 2024, so stay tuned for more information about the paper presentations after the first of the year!

Please contact Henry Markman at hcmarkman@gmail.com if you have any questions about this program.

Warmly,
Beth Steinberg
PED Chair
